Identity and Asset Identification
Each product, component, piece of equipment or vehicle is assigned a unique marker. During implementation, the asset-to-marker relationship is defined; when an asset is changed or replaced, its record is updated.
Identification and field tracking are not treated as separate processes, but as an integrated architecture operating on a shared system of record. Physical markers applied to products or assets are linked with movement, status and verification data captured in the field, bringing everything together in a single record layer. This creates a trusted, auditable trail that can be reviewed retrospectively in cases such as duplication, unauthorised use or breaches of defined parameters.
The scope of each implementation is tailored to the organisation’s product groups, asset types, counterfeiting risks, brand-protection needs, business requirements and operational priorities. A field assessment determines which assets will be tracked, which marking method will be used and under what field conditions. Based on these requirements, Birikim İnovasyon provides physical labelling and digital coding models at varying levels of security, enabling end-to-end product and asset traceability.

Deployment begins with a field assessment. Device and sensor locations are determined, communications infrastructure is established, and thresholds and alert rules are configured in the system. Industrial monitoring and control devices operate within this layer, enabling both mobile and fixed assets to be tracked through the same system.
Every verification, detection event and field movement is recorded with a timestamp. Records remain searchable within the data-management and analytics layer, ensuring that investigations are evidence-based rather than reliant on assumptions.
Asset location and status, field entries and exits, and defined thresholds are monitored on an ongoing basis. The applicable control criteria and thresholds are configured during deployment. When a threshold is breached, an alert is issued, reducing response times.
If a duplicate of a product or marker appears, it is detected and the relevant party is notified of where and when it was identified.
The exposure of a product or component to counterfeiting is assessed on an ongoing basis. Any vulnerability identified is remediated and documented.
When counterfeit use, duplication or a threshold breach is detected, the time of detection and the actions taken are recorded and can be provided in a report upon request.
We integrate existing systems, field infrastructure and data sources to support reliable and sustainable operation of the solution.
